​Well they call me Cameron "Backwoods" Barrie... growing up I was taught to live off the land and have always had an enduring love for all things wild.   From being a snowboard instructor to fly fishing and horseback guide in Breckenridge to traveling the west full time in an RV with my toddler...painting helps me share inspiration I gather along the way.

    In my travels across North America, I have experienced scenic beauty and wildlife that many people can only dream about.  Born and raised in Colorado, I spent most of my time in far away lands enjoying the most remote part of the wilderness.       

        Turning my passion for the wild and adventure into one of her careers, I came up with the idea of The Backwoods Studio; a place where fellow mankind can relive their experiences through personalized custom paintings.
